Attorney Diaz has represented clients in Immigration Courts throughout the country to obtain relief from removal. She represents detained clients in bond proceedings. Additionally, she has extensive experience filing appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and federal Courts of Appeals. Several of her federal appellate court victories have resulted in published decisions, meaning that they have set new precedents for other courts to follow. Ms. Diaz frequently files lawsuits in federal courts to obtain immigration benefits for her clients. Nellie Navidi

Nellie Navidi is an immigration attorney at Weinstock Immigration Lawyers and manages the firm’s family immigration practice area. Nellie has practiced immigration law for over a decade. Although she focuses primarily on family-based immigration and naturalization cases, she is experienced in all areas of immigration, including employment-based immigration and represented many Fortune 500 clients. She has worked as an attorney in multiple settings, including for the U.S. Government, Non-Profit Organization, large law firms, and her own immigration practice, giving her a comprehensive perspective and a diverse client base in immigration law.

Ms. Navidi previously held the position as Director of Immigration Services at the Latin American Association, where she assisted pro-bono and lower income individuals and families. Later, she was an Associate Attorney at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky, & Walker, where she guided executives and professional clients through their immigration applications in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to that, she managed her own immigration law firm. She has served on numerous liaison committees through the American Immigration Lawyers Association and worked directly with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to providing experience and dependability, Ms. Navidi focuses on the individual needs of each client. She understands that no two cases are alike. Vered Hod is a case manager and legal specialist at Weinstock Immigration Lawyers, specializing in complex employment-based non-immigrant visas, including H-1B, L-1, E and J visas, including J visa waivers. She has been working in immigration law with our team since 2008. Vered is very knowledgeable about our technology and engineering cases because she has both a technology and legal background, which is a rare find.

Born and raised in Israel, she received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Technion, the top scientific school in Israel (equivalent to MIT in the U.S.). Later on, she completed her law degree in Israel and immigrated to the U.S. with her family. Vered assists with employment based non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications as well as with family-based immigration. Her scientific background and strong business acumen combined with her legal education makes her especially qualified to handle business immigration needs. She also assists our attorneys with family immigration cases.

Before joining what is now Weinstock Immigration Lawyers, Vered practiced civil and commercial law in Israel. She is fluent in Hebrew and English.

Alina Cox

Business Immigration Paralegal

Alina Cox is a case manager in Weinstock Immigration Lawyers employment-based practice. She assists our immigration attorneys with employment-based temporary visas such as H-1B, E and L visa, as well as PERM and employment-based green cards. She was born and raised in Romania. Alina fluently speaks English, Romanian, Spanish and French. She moved to the U.S. in 2008 after graduating from Law School in Universitatea Crestina Dimitrie Cantemir in Romania. She received her U.S. paralegal certificate in 2010 and after working in the bankruptcy field she decided to pursue her passion to work with international clientele and help other immigrants like her.

Prior to joining Weinstock Immigration Lawyers, she worked for 3 years as a paralegal for one of Atlanta’s largest law firms, where she gained experience with employment-based non-immigrant visas, PERMs and green card petitions. She joined our firm in order to be able to work more closely with clients and offer a more personalized service.

Alina’s personal journey to the U.S., which ended in her becoming an American citizen, and firsthand experience with the immigration bureaucracy that separated her from her husband for a year, allows her to relate to the clients she assists in a very genuine way. Alina also assists with some family-based petitions, naturalization and other immigration cases.

Laura Quinche

Family Immigration Paralegal

Laura Quinche is a family immigration paralegal at Weinstock Immigration Lawyers.

Laura is originally from Ecuador and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is an immigrant herself and not only that, but she had to actively fight the immigration system to avoid her husband’s deportation, and after a couple of years of fighting they were able to get his green card. So Laura can easily relate to our client’s stories and problems. Laura’s personal story underscores the need to find a good immigration lawyer for a loved family member.

Laura studied Psychology at Perimeter College in Dunwoody, Georgia. Prior to working at Weinstock Immigration Lawyers, she worked for the Georgia Department of Public Health as a Communicable Disease Specialist by assisting with the prevention and spread of sexual transmitted diseases. Her personal life experience piqued her interest in immigration law and helping people in a similar situation to hers to get the best legal representation.

Yareli Vera

Yareli Vera is a family immigration paralegal at Weinstock Immigration Lawyers.

Yareli is originally from Mexico and went through the immigration process firsthand. Hailing from a family of immigrants, she truly cares about each and every one of her cases as she knows from personal experience the importance of having legal status in the United States.

Lucy Robinson

Legal Assistant

Lucy Robinson was born and raised in New Jersey, although her family is originally from Puerto Rico, where they moved from. Even though she didn’t go through the immigration process herself, she is very involved with the Hispanic community and she has a very high sensitivity towards those less fortunate, which has taken her to volunteer with children and under privileged people.

Lucy takes care of the reception and many of the firm’s administrative responsibilities along with initial client contact by phone. She moved to Georgia two years ago looking for a change after working for over 15 years in the corporate world for a big company.

Cindy Ochoa is a proud Hispanic-American citizen – her parents immigrated to the US from Mexico and Honduras. She graduated from Alpharetta High School in Georgia. She recently joined the Weinstock Immigration team as a Legal Assistant.

Coming from a family of immigrants, Cindy feels very passionate about helping people with the same struggles that her family and friends have dealt with to accomplish their dreams and ambitions. She has experienced personally the struggle within the US immigration process, through her husband who is an immigrant. She also carries over 6 years of customer service experience and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Paulina McBride

Like her colleagues, Paulina came from a culturally diverse background and has lived most of her life as an immigrant. Born in Hong Kong, and raised in the United Kingdom, Paulina is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.

Prior to becoming a marketing professional, Paulina has experience in a host of industries including journalism and infrastructure. But two underlying themes remain constant in all her pursuits: a passion for people, and an interest in the law and public service.

Paulina graduated with First Class Honours in Politics and Social Policy from the University of York, U.K., and briefly attended Vanderbilt University Law School on a Dean’s Scholarship.
